Buffalo Commons Storytelling & Music Festival - "Let Art Tell Your Story"

Join us for a Tour around McCook and see just “Where Art Happens” in our town. The Art Community is alive, thriving and growing in Southwest Nebraska. Join our day long tour and discover what’s new and what the future may hold for area artists and art lovers in our community.

The day will begin by touring the innovative and intriguing art exhibit on the 6th floor of the Keystone. Then it will continue to several other downtown sites featuring art displays from local talent of all ages. The capstone of the event will be an exhibit of a collection of pieces created by the Navajo Artist, Shonto Begay.  He will be on hand to explain his art and his inspiration.  The day will conclude at McCook Community College. After viewing the exhibit in the Wrightstone Fine Arts Building, participants will get to create some art of their own making under the direction of local artist Deonne Hinz. Tour includes lunch.
