MEFC Women's Winter Retreat

Has the Syrian refugee crisis hit too close to home?  Has it raised questions, concerns or even fear?  Dealing with any fear or uncertainty requires stepping out of our comfort zone in faith.  We humbly ask that you do just that and join us for a day to be encouraged and see a glimpse of what God is doing through this crisis.  These beautiful women will share about their love for Christ and how He is using them to reach the Muslim community in Lincoln, NE.  Hear their personal testimonies which include stories of growing up in the Middle East, facing persecution, their passion for refugees, and their perspectives on understanding our cultural differences.  Often times, our lack of understanding can fee our fears.  This event will give you an opportunity to gain insight and knowledge from our sisters in Christ who have walked the Christian path from a different perspective than our own.
Registration Fee:  $20 registration when received b January 8th, $30 after January 8th
